Anton Repnik (1935 - 2020): "Feeding the chickens", oil on canvas, l. 1985, signed, framed. Dimensions: 64 x 44 cm (+ frame 2 cm).
A. Repnik is a typical representative of Slovenian naive painting. He created a shocking image of a simple man with a characteristic facial type that proportionally dominates the entire figure and, together with greatly oversized hands and feet, gives the impression of grotesqueness.
