Original lounge chairs (2 pieces) with a folding Rex coffee table, designed by Niko Kralj in 1956. They are made of bent plywood, by the Stol Kamnik company. In original condition (stable, needs refreshing).

A chair that has served several generations and is the foundation of Rex Kralj's folding furniture collection. To date, more than two million Rex Lounge Chairs have been produced. Niko Kralj's masterpiece is a superb exercise in combining comfort, style and practicality. The backrest and seat are made of bent beech wood, which is cut in such a way that the wood bends in curves. Therefore, it is a very comfortable piece of furniture. Due to the cut plywood, the chair has a low weight and an airy appearance, and its thoughtful curves allow for excellent folding.
Due to their timeless modernist design, the Royal products belong to the treasury of European modern classics.

In 2018, the Rex chair was granted the status of an artistic product by the profession with its acceptance into the New York Museum of Modern Art MoMa.
