A refined Biedermeier chest of drawers from around 1820, crafted from solid wood and veneered in walnut. The warm brown-golden tones create a lively, almost “flame-like” texture, characteristic of high-quality walnut from this period.

The piece features a classic, restrained Biedermeier form with clean lines and balanced symmetry. It consists of several drawers: a narrower top drawer and wider ones below, arranged across three levels. The fittings are made of brass. A solid top and a subtly profiled base with square feet emphasize the stability and distinguished presence of the piece.

Overall, it reflects the essence of Biedermeier aesthetics: simplicity of form, emphasis on fine materials, and understated elegance without excessive ornamentation.
