lić Dorđe, Virtual Musician, oil on canvas, signed and dated lower right, 1993, dimensions: 89 x 130 cm. The painting is listed in the monograph on page 147 (Marinković Nada, Todić Milanka, 2003, Faculty of Architecture Belgrade). Ilić is one of the top contemporary Serbian painters.
Đorđe Ilić (Strumica 1920-Belgrade, 2010) Serbian academic painter, pedagogue and professor. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, under Professor Nedeljko Gvozdenović. In 1975 he was elected full professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade, and retired in 1984. Đorđe Ilić died on 19 August 2010, at his home in Belgrade.
